Teaching Assistant

Salary: £24,325 - £25,442 per annum pro rata. Approximate pro rata £16,860 - £17,634 per annum (0.69309 FTE)

Please Note: This is a fixed-term contract ending on 31st August 2025. Candidates are required to work 32.5 hours per week.

What will you do?

• Act as a role model for pupils, support their learning effectively
• Meet personal needs while promoting independence
• Commit to supporting pupils with special educational needs and contribute to Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
• Encourage pupil interaction and cooperation, ensuring engagement in activities
• Support emotional and social needs and accompany pupils on trips

• Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
• An understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
• Ability to understand the role of parents and carers, with the ability to relate and build excellent working relationships
• Ability to observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on pupils progress
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
