Fromefield Manor School will be a new SEN school located in central Frome, Somerset and will be a special school for up to 30 pupils, aged 11-19 who have a diagnosis of autism with associated complex needs.
Fromefield Manor will be operating through a Total communication approach and so experience of working with pupils with ASD and some knowledge of the use of TEACCH and PECS systems would be desirable. As Teaching Assistant at Fromefield Manor, your role will be to support teachers in implementing bespoke person-centred curriculums in order to meet a wide range of learner needs.
This is a unique opportunity to play an important part in the startup of an exciting new educational development within the Southwest Cluster of Aspris Schools. We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed Teaching Assistants, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support individual learning journeys across all key stages.
