Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, committed and ambitious Learning Support Unit. The successful candidate will work under the instruction of the SENDCO to support students in the classroom. We require an individual who is well organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly and motivated. The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, relate well to young people and possess maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above (or equivalent). 

Working as part of a team across different areas of the curriculum is a crucial aspect of the role, so you must have a flexible attitude, be willing to adapt to different situations throughout the school day and possess the ability to use your own initiative within a range of learning environments.

Our Ofsted in February 2020 rated the College ‘Good’ in all areas.
