Wednesdays 8am – 4pm (7.5 hours per week including lunch break),
Term time only (38 weeks)
Salary grade H4, Actual Salary £4,217 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and committed Library Assistant to work with our friendly, dedicated Librarian in our vibrant, busy Fuller Library. The Library Assistant will take responsibility for supervising the library on Wednesdays, undertaking administrative duties, supporting teaching and learning and assisting in the promotion of the library as a whole school resource.
It is an ideal role for someone who is highly self-motivated, enjoys working independently, using their own initiative as well as being part of the wider admin team of the school. Good administrative, communication and IT skills are essential.
The WBGS Admissions Policy prioritises children of staff in accordance with the admission arrangements.

Watford Grammar School for Boys is an academy with over 1400 students, including over 400 in the sixth form. From its origins as a charity school for 60 pupils founded by Dame Elizabeth Fuller in 1704, the boys’ school moved to its present site in 1912 and became an Academy in 2010. Located next to the centre of Watford, near Cassiobury Park, it comprises of a Grade II listed building, The Clarendon Muse, The James Theatre, a dedicated STEM Centre and extensive sports facilities.
