We are seeking to appoint a caring and confident Welfare Assistant to join our Welfare Team. You will need to be able to deal with a variety of welfare issues, including medical and pastoral, interacting/communicating effectively with students, parents and staff in a friendly and caring environment. You will ideally also create a good home-school rapport with parents/carers to ensure continuity of care for students with medical conditions or concerns. You will either be an approved Health and Safety Executive First Aider or be willing to train. The role also involves carrying out a range of administrative tasks.
