Itchen Sixth Form College, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding college in Southampton, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wellbeing Practitioner to join our dedicated Student Support team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our diverse student body and promoting a positive, inclusive learning environment.

As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will provide confidential emotional and mental health support to students, helping them to navigate the challenges of college life and reach their full potential. As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing one-to-one wellbeing support and guidance as well as delivering group workshops and sessions on wellbeing topics. Promoting mental health awareness across the college through campaigns and initiatives will also be central to the role.

Contract: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time.

Itchen College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational further education college in Hampshire, serving students from the age of 16-19. The college, situated in Southampton has approximately 1,558 learners on record.

Itchen College was founded in 1906 as a co-educational secondary school and later Itchen Grammar School. It welcomes learners from across the world, with 10% making up international students. Facilities on the campus include a sports centre, performing arts block – features Apple Mac suites, recording studios and soundproof music rooms, and a Student Centre for students to relax in during their study breaks.
