Do you have experience of working with primary school aged children?

We require friendly and caring people to work within our wrap around care unit providing high quality childcare afterschool.

We have received funding from the Department of Education for our new Wrap Around Care facility, starting from January 2025.

Working for 15 hours per week during the term time, the role is temporary, initially until 31 March 2026, with the view to becoming permanent.

The position will require you to plan, set up, prepare, and coordinate the weekly timetable and ensure appropriate resources and healthy snacks are provided for our children as well as supervising our children during the After School Care sessions.

You will:

  • Be a strong team player able to support colleagues within a small team.
  • Have a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Be given Paediatric First Aid Training on commencement of this role

Desirable:

  • To have a Level 3 qualification in Child Care and Education
  • To hold a valid Paediatric First Aid Training Certificate

It is an expectation of the role that you will hold a Paediatric First Aid Training Certificate and if you do not currently have this, training will be provided.
