We are currently seeking to appoint a Year 5 class teacher with Phase Leadership responsibility, who can also lead Maths throughout the school. The successful applicant will join our leadership team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the standards and progress of pupils in their phase and the progress of maths throughout the school. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated to help our children to ignite their spark and reveal the champion they hold within themselves!

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of teaching and learning pedagogy and experience of using educational research to improve their classroom practice. We are seeking to appoint staff who have a flexible attitude, can work collaboratively with colleagues, and who are passionate about providing all children with the very best learning experiences possible.

The successful candidate will be a member of the Leadership Team, supporting the Senior Leadership Team in achieving the school's development priorities and helping to develop the school's strategic direction by providing another perspective.

  • Has a sound understanding of assessment and using data to inform decisions

·        Has strong classroom and leadership experience

·        Has a can-do attitude and a reliable work-ethic

·        Has high expectations and shows commitment to raising standards for all pupils

·        Has the ability to lead and motivate others

  • Has the desire to develop their own skills, and a strong understanding of how to develop others
  • Wants to play an important role in the development of the school, in partnership with the leadership team
