This is a guide for Edexcel iGCSE Spanish. I have put together a guide taking as example other ones that some other colleagues did in the past. It includes pictures with examples for the picture presentation. There are also some example questions to help them with the preparation of section B as well. Hope it is useful for your classes!

Una serie de lecciones sobre ciudades españoles. Se usan para explotar el tema de la ciudad : 1. Vocabulario sobre lugares en las ciudades. 2. Vocabulario sobre actividades en las ciudades. 3. Verbos : se puede, verbo ser, hay 4. Comparaciones (Las comparamos las unas con las otras y seguimos expandiendo vocabulario con adjetivos sobre la ciudad). I would start with comparisons, and then go into landmarks (places in town) to finish with what you can do in these places.

A worksheet on healthy living in which students are exposed to present, 3 types of past and a couple of subjuntives + conditional phrases. Good for covering the topic Healthy Living as it gives them plenty of sentences and key vocab to allow them to speak about themselves comparing what they used to eat and do and what they eat and do now.

This worksheet contains a set of reading comprehension activities. It has four readings plus questions about it. Answers are provided at the end.

This lesson focuses on South America cultural diversity, natural wonders and social issues. With a very famous and controversial advert, we explore the vocabulary related to the topic and invite the students to do a research depending on their areas of interest and to be prepared to feedback to the class. This material is meant to be covered in roughly 4 hours of teaching and it prepares students to debate about the social issues and challenges that South America faces at the moment. It ultimate aims to give the students a broad understanding of the Spanish speaking word and it can be used for both A level and IB (DP).

There is a reading comprehension to introduce the author, a vocabulary activity to feed some key language and a speaking activity to practice the language. This is a resource to explore 'family and relationships' . I've used a Spanish film called ' 15 años y un día' as it presented a lot of conflicts between parents, children and grandparents. It also covers bullying and immigration. I hope this is useful to those studying Spanish at A level or IB.
