I used this for a teaching Interview that I was successful in. Can be used as a starter and plenary activity designed to check for progression in the lesson.
At the start of the lesson ask a question to students related to the learning objectives. They will write down in the ‘What I Knew’ footprint anything they already know on the subject. At the end of the lesson ask students to fill out the ‘what I’ve learnt’ footprint. This is designed to show what forward progress students have made. The Powerpoint is set up in A4 layout so will print out.
Activity for students to complete. Students colour code the benefits for using a computer and a paper based database. Students can then self assess their answers on the second slide.
Used to show the benefits and uses of a computerised database.
