The visual prompts help children to find the correct spelling as well as giving a clue to the meaning of the word. Can be printed and used as a spelling resource or enlarged, cut up and used as flash cards or an assessment tool.

Print, laminate and chop up. Simple game based on 'pairs&', place cards face down on table, children to choose 1 card from the &';questions' then find the matching answer. If they successfully find the pair then they win a point, if not then they turn the cards back over - trick is to remember where the answers are! Can be edited to alter table.
