Work to support the study of the film “Sur le chemind de l’école”. Project based on Dynamo 3 Rouge pages 108/109 “Visite à un pays francophone”. Students follow a step by step worksheet to produce a poster about le Québec, Madagascar or l’île Maurice comprising some historical, cultural and geographical details and a description of a tour with different activities they will research whilst completing the worksheet. Students work in pairs and they can use the vocabulary from module 5 for support. The answers for the first 3 activities are on the PowerPoint presentation. The worksheet contains links to touristic websites the students can access for their research.

The aim is to give students a indication of which topic or type of tasks they need to revise and/or practice. The teacher can back this up by having an overview of the questions badly answered quickly. Lots of information is provided such as the tier of the question (F - H - overlap); the questions to answer in French which are in a different colour and the grade boundaries. For the reading, the solution of the translation is also provided.
