Two documents, one is a reading about violent riot in a town called El Ejido a few years ago. The second one are activities that go with a video about a Mali inmigrant in the same town.

One is related to the veil in Europe The other one is related based on a youtube video Un dia sin inmigrantes. It is also a good resource to work with the conditionals.

This is an activity based on Paul Ginnis 'The market place' I used this activity as an assessment and for collaborative learning purposes. Students are in groups. Every group has a paragraph of the text. They have to understand their part and make a drawing of the reading. Then one of them will stay in table and have to explain to other members of the other groups their pictures, then they take notes. Afterwards, they go to their groups and need to put the information together as they will be tested afterwards.
