<p>This booklet provides practitioners with a range of fun and engaging weather related activities for outdoor learning, across the curriculum. It also provides ideas for a range of resources that can be collated to create weather boxes. These are boxes full of resources that lend themselves to a particular type of weather. <p>This 13 page resource provides numerous ideas for fun, exciting literacy activities outdoors, including a large number of movement based phonics games which can adapted for use across all phonics phases. Ideas for reading and writing outside are included and highlighted in the planning example. Advice on how to best utilize your outdoor area, to provide children with purposeful reading and writing opportunities, is also included. There is list of outdoor literacy resources provided and advice on how this can best be stored to ensure ease of access.</p>
