<p>Key Stage 3 Dance - suitable for year 7 or 8. Based on the idea of Dance Through the Movies focusing specifically on Grease, Mumma Mia, Hairspray and Step-up. The assessment is based on current key process indicators in my school. These indicators directly link to the BTEC Tech Award in Performing Arts (Dance).</p>

<p>This a scheme of work for key stage 3 that will prepare students for the BTEC Tech Award in Performing Arts (Dance and Drama) Component 3. This scheme of work is based on a lesson that has developed both Dance and Drama techniques with the options for students to complete the brief for either subject. Tis is a full lesson for the scheme of work lasting 5 sessions with an assessment. This plans are based on 100 minute lessons so a lot of content is covered as well as basic devising skills. Perfect for key stage 3 and year 9 preparation for KS4.</p>

It includes resources for 100 minute lessons that can easily be split down into more lessons if required. This is a full scheme of work. It also touches on Emancipation of Expressionism therefore also links to GCSE Dance.</p>
