<p>6 Lessons of Oliver Twist exploration.</p> <p>Normally I would watch the first half of the film on youtube then begin practically exploring it after this.</p> <p>This SOW works on characterisation and musical theatre - it allows students to sing ‘food glorious food’ or ‘consider yourself’.</p> <p>The final assessment can be a final musical theatre performance where students choreograph their own version of the songs explored during lessons.</p> <p>It’s a fun SOW that year 7’s really enjoy.</p> <p>Resources include costume design for Oliver as HW and a worksheet that can be used during the film part of the SOW.</p>
