Christmas Movie Music</strong> <em>(listen to the song and guess the Christmas movie it’s from)</em><br /> <strong>5. Christmas Music Of The Decades</strong> <em>(7 decades of music, but which 2 songs come from each one?)</em><br /> <strong>6. Christmas UK Number 1s</strong> <em>(guess the eagerly anticipated Number 1 spot of the year from only the intro)</em></p> <p><strong>All soundbytes are edited and included on the slides. Answers on the final two slides. Question sheets for students on the separate PDF.</strong></p> <p>There’s emphasis on the MUSIC part of Christmas but this can be used across the curriculum.</p> <p>The quiz can last up to an hour (or more, depending on how long you want to give the students to complete each round). You could split the rounds across different lessons as a starter or plenary activity to get students in the Christmassy spirit!</p> <p>Particularly useful if you need a cover lesson, very self-explanatory! TV Themes - listen to the soundtrack and guess the TV series<br /> 3. Live Lounge - listen to the cover song and guess the voice of the artist singing<br /> 4. TikTok Trends - watch the muted TikTok and guess the song in the background<br /> 5. International Hits - listen to the hit No.1 track and guess the country it comes from<br /> 6. Films of 2024 - listen to the soundtrack and guess the film</p> <p>This resource comes with the PowerPoint (with all videos and audio tracks cut and faded) and a Quiz Sheet for students to fill out their answers. <em>Please note that the PowerPoint will not work on Google Slides, only on Microsoft PowerPoint</em></p> <p>This quiz should probably last around an hour but you could also split it up across lessons to shorten it or play extracts again to make it longer.
