<ul> <li>The aim of this resource is to support learners in using alternative vocabulary for assignment or essay writing when referring to other people’s work</li> <li>The session includes activities that encourage learners to apply different words such as “says”, “looked at” “agrees with” etc</li> <li>The session starts with learners working together to choose different words for text</li> <li>The later half of the session encourages learners to find people to agree or disagree with them on statements such as “Teachers should be paid more than Doctors” so that they can start building on analytical skills by finding peers who agree or disagree with them</li> <li>The session is structured to build upon study skills terminology and should last around 1 hour</li> </ul>
