CNC Simulation - How to generate G-Code using the Creality software
A slicer is toolpath generation software used in 3D printing processes to send the conversion of a 3D model into specific instructions for the printer. It converts a model in STL format to printer commands in g-code format for use in fused filament fabrication.
These instructions are meant for independent learners - it is a requirement that students can simulate the manufacture of their products.
Once a student has drawn their item and exported as an STL file they can follow these instructions to add evidence to their project folders.
Using these instructions students will be able to show their computer drawings (CAD), examples of G-Code (CNC) and a simulation of the manufacture (CAM).
