KS1 & 2 Teaching activities on Lubna and Pebble by Wendy Meddour
The story ‘Lubna and Pebble’ is a wonderful story about a child and her dad seeking a new life. Children will recognise the need for friendship and the bonds Lubna forms. With these resources children will be able to develop their empathy and understanding about being a refugee. Central to the story are the friendships that Lubna forms and these resources help children to think about the people who are important in their lives. The 7 activities are suitable for children in KS1 and KS2 and include opportunities to be creative, thoughtful and develop their reading and interpreting skills.
