Definitions of words taken from War Horse, set out by chapter and page number. I created this as some of the children in my class were struggling with understanding what some of the words meant. Can also be used for dictionary work and synonyms.
<p>A notebook file looking at making a prediction on the front covers of the book Boy Overboard with an activity of making predictions from pictures beforehand. After reading the first chapter, the children then write another prediction, based on what they have heard/read.</p>
