A lesson on Morse code during WW2. Also a science notebook and worksheet that builds on prior knowledge of circuits to make their own morse code machine (which I used straight after finding out about morse code). Sorry, no planning for the science but if I find it, I will upload.

<p>A unit of work that compares creation stories of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism and Buddhism leading to the children writing their own creation story. Includes lesson plans, notebooks and supporting handouts/activities for each lesson. The unit starts with gaining the children’s understanding or religion and worship.</p>

An English workbook focusing on five different aspects of English, one per week. There are 5 questions per day:<br /> Week 1 - Ordering sentences.<br /> Week 2 - Correcting capital letters and full stops.<br /> Week 3 - Adding the correct punctuation - full stops, question marks and exclamation marks.<br /> Week 4 - Inserting commas.<br /> Week 5 - verbs.<br /> <br /> I used as an early morning workbook but could be used as an intervention. Includes steps to success, assessment, feedback and next steps.

Definitions of words taken from War Horse, set out by chapter and page number. I created this as some of the children in my class were struggling with understanding what some of the words meant. Can also be used for dictionary work and synonyms.

Looking at the features of a prayer for the children then to write their own.

<p>A notebook file looking at making a prediction on the front covers of the book Boy Overboard with an activity of making predictions from pictures beforehand. After reading the first chapter, the children then write another prediction, based on what they have heard/read.</p>

4 lessons looking at relative pronouns, relative clauses and appropriate punctuation that relates to War Horse. The end task is to write about Topthorn dying incorporating relative pronouns, relative clauses and appropriate punctuation.
