After learning about Mint Warden Issac Newton and his mission to bring coin counterfeiters to justice, pupils take on the role of his spy, charged with learning about counterfeiting and infiltrating the criminal network of the notorious coin forger William Chaloner. Explore the work of coinmakers and criminals from the 1690s and consider the impression the monarch wished to make through his image and coins.
