<p>A 12 page work booklet to use with Year 7 during Covid-19 closures. First page contains an easy-to-use guide on how students should use Google Translate. The booklet covers 2 lessons worth of material on using jouer a with sports and faire de with certain activities. There are also extension tasks to do with cultural capital.</p> <p>Each lesson contains a vocabulary based starter; an explanation of the key grammar concept and then an opportunity for students to use the grammar through translation and extended writing (scaffolded with a Conti-inspired sentence builder).</p> <p>I have uploaded a Microsoft word version of the document but I do also have a Google Docs version I can share in order to make it accessible to as many teachers as possible.</p> <p>I am a NQT so please feel free to give any feedback on the document in the reviews as anything will have increase my own personal development. PLease let me know if you find the workpack useful!</p>

<p>A whole class feedback sheet to be used for feedback in MFL, either post-book marking or post formative assessment.</p> <p>It is a clear layout with arrows to show student progression through the sheet, to show them:<br /> 1. what they were successful at in the assessment,<br /> 2. what as a class they need to work on,<br /> 3. Any major misconceptions that need re-teaching<br /> 4. SPAG section (this is not always used)<br /> 5. A section where they can act on their feedback.</p> <p>I have uploaded this as a Powerpoint so it all adaptable as you see fit!</p> <p>I hope you find it useful!</p>

<p>A workpack of 3 tasks designed to help students learn places in town in French during distance learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic.</p> <p>The workpack consists of:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A knowledge organiser to help focus the students’ vocabulary and discourage them from seeking out answers from online translators.</p> </li> <li> <p>A vocabulary retrieval task.</p> </li> <li> <p>A task on recognising types of property in French.</p> </li> <li> <p>A dual-coded ‘design a town’ extended writing task supported by a sentence builder from BBC Bitesize.</p> </li> </ul> <p>As I an NQT I always welcome feedback on my resources. <p>This is a lesson designed to be used for home schooling during the 2020 Covid-19 lockdown. It focuses on using J’aime/Je n’aime pas with infinitives to describe what students like or do not like doing.</p> <p>The lesson pack contains:</p> <ul> <li>A knowledge organiser, taken from Studio 1, Module 3</li> <li>A simple, concise explanation of infinitives and what they are used for.</li> <li>Tasks designed to retrieve vocabulary, recognise infinitives and produce a well-scaffolded (through a sentence builder) piece of writing in French.</li> </ul> <p>As I’ve mentioned previously, I am an NQT so any feedback given to my resources is warmly received for the sake of my CPD.</p>
