Virtual trip to Paris Bitmoji

This virtual trip to Paris contains many links to websites, tasks and microlessons to give pupils an immersive experience. I hope my resource will help as many pupils as possible to learn French but also to broaden their horizons and make them dream in these troubled times. It is interactive, pupils need to click on objects and forms to access different places. There is a focus on the most famous monuments of Paris but also on communicative skills in tourist places such as the hotel or the restaurant. You can add your own google doc/quizz at the end of the trip to assess your student understanding of the trip. This is a resource which fits all ages as it contains a mix of basic communicative skills reminders as well as links to cultural websites.

Learn the countries and nationalities

Students have to colour the names of the countries once they complete the short tasks for each country. They can work in autonomy. This resource helps with numeracy skills, geography and activate prior knowledge (greetings, numbers, colours, months…) in French.

Football game Collaborative Learning

Collaborative Learning activity using a football pitch and cards to print and to personalize, endless possibilities!
You have two teams, on blue and one red. You will need one ‘ball’ (any circle paper will do). The game starts in the middle. Pupils take a card, if they answer correctly or make a correct sentence, they can move the ball one segment in the direction of their opponent’s goal. The objective of the game is to score as many goals as possible! It is very easy to prepare and it promotes collaborative learning, speaking skills and positive competition. Pupils love it!
