<p>Two worksheets about the different types of contraception.</p> <p>The first worksheet gets students to find out information about 14 different types of contraception and gather it together in a table.</p> <p>The second worksheet gets students to use the information they have gathered on the first worksheet to try and figure out which contraception is which based on an image of them.</p>

<p>Students are given the descriptions of six different mythical creatures.</p> <p>They need to read through the description and then draw the creature based on what they have red. Students are then asked to see if they can figure out what creature it is.</p>

<p>Students are asked to answer questions about an extract from the first chapter of The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening. Students need to use quotes from the extract in their answers to back up their answers.</p>

<p>Activity for students to use their creative writing skills.</p> <p>Students need to write a number of diary entries based on a number of stills taken from ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ TV shows.</p>

<p>There are two extracts for students to read, one from The Vampire Diaries and the other from Twilight, which are the first time the main character see a vampire.</p> <p>After reading them there are 6 questions for them answer. Five are to do with the extracts and one is getting them to do their own descriptive writing about vampires.</p>

<p>The resource has the initial diary entries from the lead character Elena.<br /> Students are asked to do a number of tasks based on the extracts including looking at the similarities and differences between the entry from the book and the entries from the TV series as well as how the topic of her parent’s deaths is mentioned.</p>

<p>Five sheets of questions about the Ancient Greek Games as well as the Modern version. This includes questions about the logo and an activity where students have to mark on the world map the locate the city and year of each of the modern Olympic games.</p>

<p>Students are asked to look at the image from a scene in The Vampire Diaries on the first page.<br /> They are then asked to think about their 5 sense in relation to the image and make notes in the table on the second page. What would they be able to see, hear, smell, taste and feel?<br /> Then, using the writing techniques that make up AFORESTIS, they are asked to do a piece of creative writing from the perspective of someone in the image.</p>

<p>Students need to do a comparison between characters that appear in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ TV series and their corresponding character in the books based on their name and physical description.</p> <p>Students are then asked their opinion of which version of the characters they think fit better with their vision of the character as well as about characters that appear in the TV series but not the books.</p>

<p>Students are asked to write a formal letter to the creator of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ Julie Plec.</p> <p>A number of topics are given that they could put into their letter but the most important thing is that whatever the write they justify. There are no wrong answers as long as they can back up their opinions.</p> <p>A template for a formal letter has also be attached in order to help any students that need it.</p>

<p>A workbook for school children about how their feelings can affect they way the behave. It includes both positive and negative feelings as well as asking about what the child could do to change the way they behave.<br /> Can be used independently, part of a PSHE lesson or as part of a behaviour management curriculum.</p>
