The ‘I do’ contains diagrams along with information that can be used to explain the adaptations of different blood components as well as their function. The ‘we do’ consists of a lot of peer discussions so students can share knowledge, and have a better understanding through peer support. Any misconceptions can be resolved during this stage, as well as during check questions that follow. I would use miniwhiteboards during the checks to track individual progress and understanding of pupils as well as close any gaps in learning.
