<p>Short discussion activities to support form tutors to discuss why this UN recognised awareness day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls is necessary in age appropriate ways:</p> <ul> <li>KS3 - normalisation and the snowball effect of harassing behaviours</li> <li>KS4 - gender stereotypes and providing boys with positive role models</li> <li>KS5 - media representation of violence and toxic masculinity</li> </ul> <p>All activities are resourced with answers provided.</p> <p>We strongly encourage staff to read aloud the disclaimer at the beginning to prepare students as a content warning.</p>
