A PowerPoint of a lesson to practise French pronunciation. I have used it across both Key Stage 3 and 4, as it is also a useful resource to use before the GCSE speaking exams.
A resource used alongside Echo Express 1 to teach Chapter 2 (School). I used this with year 7, but it could equally be used with year 8 if they had just started German.
French resource - contains a PowerPoint, a key words sheet, and a print out of the Connect 4 slide. <br />
<br />
The Connect 4 slide can be done as a class, or as a pair, depending on the level of the class. <br />
<br />
The key words sheet can be laminated and used for the whole topic, and contains 3 tenses, connectives, and adjectives so it can be used with all abilities.<br />
<br />
The PowerPoint itself contains vocab introduction, then vocab memory game, a speaking task, Connect 4 game, and a plenary slide where pupils have to draw a building in their books and write as many new words as they can remember inside it.
Used alongside Echo Express 1, chapter 2, to teach the topic of school to year 7. Could equally be used with a year 8 group who have just started German. This PowerPoint consists of a quiz (attached is also a Word document with the quiz questions on for pupils to fill in), after the quiz there is an explanation of the answers (why they are true or false) and then two links to video clips from BBC and YouTube.

This is a resource I made when teaching the topic "Arbeitswelt" to y11. It may need a bit of editing, but it was a successful resource. It encourages pupils to use translation, reading, writing and speaking, and could also be adapted for listening.

Can be used with all years. Originally used with year 7 to initially teach the time. The objectives on this version have been modified to use with years 8 and 9 as a revision before teaching daily routine. Notes are on PowerPoint to instruct teachers on games and tasks.
PowerPoint slide detailing how to form the perfect tense in French. I have included 2 slides so it can be printed 2 to a page for departments that are conscious of photocopying costs :).
