<p>Quality Assured stories and lesson packs for KS1-KS2 covering a wide range of PSHE topics. Free resource. Squashing the worry monster. Story + lesson plan + resources.</p> <p>*“I used to know a monster who was scary, big and strong.<br /> But since I learned to squash him, we actually get along.” *</p> <p>This story helps children recognise and deal with worries. It is not a story that teaches implicitly about mental health. Rather, it equips children to recognise and articulate ‘the worry monster’ and adopt healthy behaviours to squash him.</p> <p>KS2.
