<p>Simple cut and stick tasks related to basic measure concepts from Y1/2 curriculum.</p>
<p>Concepts include;</p>

<li>“I can use the comparative language related to time e.g. Quicker/slower, earlier/later.”</li>
<li>“I can make comparisons using more than/less than e.g. hotter/colder.”</li>
<li>"I can use practical measuring apparatus, to find objects that are heavier/lighter than 500g, holds more/less than ½ litre. "</li>
<li>“I can suggest appropriate standard equipment for measuring length (in any direction) and mass. e.g. choose a cm ruler, metre rule or trundle wheel/ balances,<br />
scales.”</li>

<p>2 x worksheets, made using Widgit symbols, based upon addition within 10. One sheet uses visuals for students to physically count if required and the other sheet offers multiple choice answers for students to tick/circle/highlight.</p>
<p>A 20 question assessment/test on time and measure (days of the week and months of the year) based at around Year 1 level, mapped against DAPA targets for SEND students. Created using Widgit symbols for ease of understanding.</p>
<p>A simple 20 question literacy assessment, created using Widigit, focusing on skills such as basic phonics and letters of the alphabet, as well as some basic phonological skills such as identifying rhyme. Final question provides a word bank for students to attempt to construct their own sentence. Working level approx. year 1.</p>
