Live SQL practice Computer Science

(0)
Do your students struggle with writing SQL? This resource is suitable for GCSE and A level students to practice their SQL writing using a live database. Most other resources use screenshots of database tables but this uses a live database and a Python program. A Python file and .db database (incomplete, but on Marvel character superheroes) is included, but any .db database will be suitable. This resource is flexible and allows teachers to extend and stretch SQL learning. There are 2 other documents included - a helpfile for teachers and a worksheet for students (with some SQL exercises matching the enclosed database). The image files should be placed in the same folder as the Python file (logo for the program). 11/5/21 Resource updated with new Python file - input field now has scrollbar so text does not disappear out of the window. Input box now coloured. Output box now permanently disabled. Please give this resource a review!
