<p>This resource is a booklet of 18 role-plays based on areas of topic vocabulary required at Common Entrance 13+. I have written the role-plays myself on each topic; following the format of the pupil copy (in English), together with a teacher script (in French). There is a blank page for notes. This could be used in class or set as revision. Users could easily add to and extend the range of role-plays. Summary pupil guidance for the examination and an interpretation of the mark scheme is included. There is also a list of additional useful phrases for pupils to learn in preparation for the examination. The aim of the list of useful phrases is to enable pupils to be familiar with suitable phrases in advance so that they only need use the dictionary during the examination to look up unknown vocabulary items.</p>

This PowerPoint Assembly would be suitable for pupils from Years 6-9. It explains the story behind the origins of of the Nobel Prizes, as well as getting pupils to reflect on what their own legacies might be.

This PowerPoint assembly is suitable for pupils from Years 6-9. It shows how the system of Braille originated by using touch to 'read'. It includes a link to the story of Louis Braille himself. When I gave this assembly, I also had a copy of some text which a friend had typed on a Braille typewriter, which pupils had to decipher.

<p>A presentation I put together for an assembly during our Y6 cycling proficiency week. However, I have linked it to the Tour de France so may be useful for MFL/French etc.</p>

<p>Simple guidance for pupils to construct sentences for the writing paper. Shows how to use subject/verb + extra information to extend sentences. Have also included some simple pictures to practise sentence writing.</p>

<p>Double-sided card and decoration to photocopy for pupils to complete and colour.<br /> The decoration is in the form of a double sided snow globe which pupils may colour and then cut out and hang somewhere or stick to a window. There is a dot-to-dot with numbers to 15 to be completed, which forms the picture of a house.</p>

<p>An assembly encouraging pupils to think for themselves without being judgmental. Looking for deeper meanings and not ‘judging a book by it’s cover’ etc. Easily adaptable.</p>
