This is a fully resourced and differentiated SOW with a Harry Potter theme. The majority of these lessons have been graded as "outstanding" in lesson observations. All powerpoints are self-explanatory and have many outlined opportunities for developing geographical vocabulary, skills and stretch and challenge. This is designed for Year 7 but could be used for older lower ability KS3 groups.

<p>This is a fully resourcedand differentiated Y9 SoW about conflict in the continent of Africa. Lessons include, Background to conflict, child soldiers, piracy, ivory trade and Virunga National.</p>

<p>A generic homework/plenary slide with a range of activities which students can choose from to demonstrate their understanding of the lesson or link back to previous learning. The activities are differentiated based on difficulty.</p>

<p>This is a 3 part, fully resourced, decision making exercise about the proposed cable car at Whinlatter Forest in the Lake District and is part of our mini SoW for Y9 looking at National Parks.</p>

<p>Fully resourced and differentiated 2 part lesson about whether people should live near active volcanoes or not, based on an information carousel exercise looking at the pros and cons. Includes a scaffolded extended piece of writing based on their evidence. We use this with Y7 (probably higher abiliyt) but is appropriate for any KS3.</p>
