To make the Taboo cards – photocopy the cards below on to card; laminate the cards to make them more long lasting. Cut the cards carefully between the lines.<br /> To Play<br /> 2. Divide the players into two teams. Place the buzzer and cards in the center of the table.<br /> 3. Choose one person from a team to start. He or she should sit opposite his/her team and draw a card from the pack and start the timer. The card should be hidden from the player’s team but visible to at least one of his/ her opponents. This opponent should hold the buzzer.<br /> 4. The player should then give clues to the players on their team. The clues can be single words or sentences. The clue giver cannot use any word from the Taboo list printed on the card, or any parts of those words or forms of those words.<br /> 5. The team scores one point for the clue giver's team for each word they guess correctly. There is no penalty for wrong answers.

It is based on the children’s game memory. <br /> <br /> Instructions<br /> Firstly, you need two sets of cards for each group of students. Print the cards in colour if possible, then use the image on page 6, or another suitable image for the back of the cards. Laminate your sets of cards, they will last much longer. Then cut out the cards and give two sets of cards to each group. The students should spread the cards out on the table upside down and shuffle them around. Then one of the group turns over two cards these are the starter cards there should always be two cards open in this way.
