A matching activity linked to the topic of Superheroes. The activity is a perfect match for PSHE links to heroes within our communities and keeping safe. The sheet includes people such as a doctor, police, lifeguard, vet, teacher, etc. The purpose of the activity it to match the person with what they can help us with/when they can help us. It is a cut and stick activity, great for part of a carousel or independent work. <br /> <br /> I have also included the powerpoint presentation which I used to introduce the topic and run alongside the lessons, which ended with this activity.

<p>A set of two/three Art lessons based on the artist Pete McKee and his work. There is information about Pete McKee himself, examples of his art work, opportunity to form an opinion of his work, and an evaluation for the children to evaluate their own creation. Resources include two WALTs ( one for describing and analysing and one for creating), handouts of his work, a flipchart to share with the children (for at least 2 lessons), and speech bubble templates children can use to write their opinions on.</p>

This resource contains a set of SPaG activities based on adding the suffixes 'er' and 'est'. <br /> The powerpoint contains: <br /> A spelling spotter, where children have to find words with the suffixes 'er' and 'est'.<br /> Examples of sentences containing 'er' and 'est' words. <br /> Examples of what happens to the spellings of words when you add these two suffixes.<br /> An explanation of the rules for these two suffixes.<br /> <br /> In addition, there is also a quiz, quiz trade included which is suitable for a class of over 30.
