My year 12s are a bit exhausted by end of year revision lessons, I designed these resources for my very large class (25 students) so that they could work independently for 2 hours and I could circulate. I have six pods in my classroom so made each desk space focused on a different required practical (1-6). For each practical there is a brief summary of the practical with visual prompts, a task sheet and answer sheet. The text size might need adjusting slightly as it seems to have reformatted when I saved the document!

Resource includes a handout for students and powerpoint presentation that guides them through the specific immune response, including the roles of phagocytes, T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes.

Two hour revision lesson for year 13 on Topic 2 Cells. The powerpoint includes a starter slide with recall questions. There are some slides that can be used to reteach some tricky components of the course (working out what type of transport is taking place from a graph, comparisons of structure, calibration curves). There is a blockbusters game, students compete in two teams, each starting from one side of the board, they choose a question and must answer correctly to claim the tile, slide is interactive so you can click to change the colour of the tile. Each team must make it to the other side of the board. The second half of the lesson could be used as independent past paper practice - There is a booklet of questions included.
