<p>Algebra<br /> Simultaneous Equations with 3 variables</p> <ul> <li>Print double sided so answer will be on back</li> <li>Cut page into 3 questions</li> </ul> <p>As an introduction into 3 variable simultaneous equations, have students in groups of 2/3.<br /> Give each group a question (I try to hand out the Q’s so that groups near each other don’t have the same Q - can tell with the symbols).<br /> I then ask them, using their knowledge of solving 2 variable equations, can they figure out how to solve these!<br /> The answers are on the back so they can check as they go.<br /> Any group that finishes early, I give a new question (new symbol).<br /> It usually is well received and they like the challenge!</p>
