Italian lesson to teach the time. It includes revision of numbers, practice of times, listening task and also a secon power point to fill in the clocks with the class. Give them 2 blank copies and then show the answers one per time from the board.
This is a dice game to play with a dice with 9, 12 or 18 faces. The game is simple, to be played in pairs or groups of more than 2 pupils. Each person throws the dice and has to say the sentence with that number. I have made different grids for a lot of differentiation. There are grids in French (of course easier, just to be read) and grids in English (harder as they have to say the French). Also there are cards of 9, 12, or 18 numbers (the bigger the grid is the more difficult the game will be). To win the game they should get three answers in a row (you decide)
Card Game - Expo 1, Module 3 (where I live, house, position of objects, what I do at home). This is an end of unit revision game. This can be played as cooperative task; groups of four usually work well. In turn pupils ask each other the questions on each card. The person asking the question can see the answer and also how many points will be awarded for the correct answer. One person will write the scores of the players.

This booklet is aimed to “potential scholars” in prep schools but also GCSE/A level. The booklet contains 28 pages and cover the curriculum needed to tackle a French Scholarship exam from any of the senior schools in the UK, mainly in England. This is pretty much the same level as GCSE/A level.

Card Game - Expo 1, Module 5 (school subjects, opinions, reflexives). This is an end of unit revision game. This can be played as cooperative task; groups of four usually work well. In turn pupils ask each other the questions on each card. The person asking the question can see the answer and also how many points will be awarded for the correct answer. One person will write the scores of the players.
Power point introducing Italian basic vocabulary. Start making a bet with the class 'How many Italian words do you know?'. Bet that they know at least 20 words (THEY DO!!!). And then show some of these from the slides. They'll know cars, fashion brands. food, drinks.....
I have created this game to develop literacy and thinking skills in Year 7. One person will seat front to the class and back to the whiteboard. On the whiteboard put one slide. The class can see the word (rooms in French in this case) and in turn they will shout ONE word each to make the person sitting there guess the word. They cannot use certain words (written on the slide). Can work as 2 teams game.
Worksheet / Vocab sheet about the time in French. Give the sudents the two blank clocks (one for the hours one for the minutes) then show the answer with the other power point. Make them give the answer before showing them.
Random words game. Call 2 people on board. They have 5 seconds each to circle 3 words to make up a sentence! This can be used also in other ways. For example, give a copy as handout to a student (or a group) and give them time to find as many sentences as they can.
dice game on holidays. Big and small format. You can use this as pair game or whole class game. If done as pair game, make small copies and give a dice to each pair, if not it can be played as whole class game. For this you will have to put the big grid on the smartboad and mark the points there. The winner can be the team to get 3 correct answers in a row. Points marked as X's and O's (I usually do it in any direction).
Card Game - Expo 1, Module 6 (activities, infinitives, on peut....). This is an end of unit revision game. This can be played as cooperative task; groups of four usually work well. In turn pupils ask each other the questions on each card. The person asking the question can see the answer and also how many points will be awarded for the correct answer. One person will write the scores of the players.
This is a power point to do in a computer room. There is a Family tree to start and then the actual power point. I did this as guidance for less able students as not all of them are expert users of Power Point Office.
This is a vocabulary sheet to give to the class to revise the topic of 'Healthy eating/living'. On the right side there is the vocab in English. I made it in white font so that if you just select that side and then change font, you can reveal the English translation to the class. I find this good to give them the change to tell the meanings and then show the answer to make sure they fill in their vocab sheet correctly.
Card Game - Expo 2, Module 1, Unité 1-2-3 (jobs, family....). This is an end of unit revision game. This can be played as cooperative task; groups of four usually work well. In turn pupils ask each other the questions on each card. The person asking the question can see the answer and also how many points will be awarded for the correct answer. One person will write the scores of the players.
