<p>A range of History Assessments for Years 7-9.</p> <p>Included is assessments sheets with various levels of activities and booklets for pupils to complete their answer in. There are also some help sheets.</p> <p>The assessments are leveled in relation to a school policy but can be adapted.</p> <p>Year 7 Focus - Romans and Vikings</p> <p>Year 8 Focus - Building an Empire</p> <p>Year 9 Focus - WW1</p>

<p>4 introductory lessons for Year 7 classes. From centuries and decades to source analysis. Individual slides can be printed out when necessary, I thought this would be easier than creating separate word documents.</p> <p>Please be aware that these were created on a MacBook so might look slightly different.</p>

<p>3 History Booklets that were used in Year 7-9 for the first Term.</p> <p>Each booklet has 6 activities that range from writing tasks, memory tasks and research tasks.</p> <p>They can be adapted to suit your topics but currently it is.</p> <p>Year 7 - Invasion and the Romans<br /> Year 8 - Empires and Exploration<br /> Year 9 - Imperialism and WW1</p> <p>The front page is made so the student can add any images of their choice.</p>

<p>History lesson on he Rise of Dictatorship, specifically under Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini.</p> <p>The activities in this lesson will help students;</p> <ul> <li> <p>Be able to explain the key characteristics of a dictator.</p> </li> <li> <p>Be able to describe what life is like under dictatorship.</p> </li> <li> <p>Understand how the role of a dictator can impact the world.</p> </li> </ul> <p>The worksheet is optional to accompany the presentation.</p>

<p>A number of lessons aimed at teaching students the laws and effects of alcohol.</p> <p>The lessons have a variety of activities to complete. This could be used in a PSE lesson or used in Science.</p>

<p>PSE Lesson on Risk</p> <p>Students will focus on:</p> <ul> <li> <p>To discuss who keeps us safe.</p> </li> <li> <p>To decide how we can keep ourselves safe.</p> </li> <li> <p>To understand risks and risk taking.</p> </li> </ul>

<p>Two powerpoints that can be used in a citizenship lesson or as part of PSE. One powerpoint is a cultural quiz to get European students to understand the continent they live in and the other is more personal (created for a British school in Spain but can be edited.)</p>

<p>Lesson on the Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and how this impacted on Europe. Final question getting the pupils to think about whether World War One Inevitable Without Franz Ferdinand’s Assassination?</p>

<p>A PSE style lesson for pupils to budget a family holiday. Preferably completed in a computer room but is transferable to classroom based.</p>

<p>This powerpoint contains various activities to help students understand what happens after fertilisation.</p> <p>There are slides that can be printed for students use (for example tables to complete) or you can get them to draw them in their books instead.</p> <p>This could take over 2 lessons to complete depending on the class.</p>
