Recount (Who, What, Where, When, Why)
A simple powerpoint presentation used in conjunction with First Steps writing. This is usefull for when doing a recount, Charlie the clown has 5 balls with the W questions on it to help children recount the key elements of an event or story. Also includes a template for children to use when writing their recount using the same headings.

Place Value - Tens & Ones house
Use this resource to help children visually grasp the concept of place value. By adding either deines blocks or cubes to each of the houses they can begin to see the value of each. Once they have created their number they can then write the value of each in the chimney.
