<p>This scheme of work is for any KS3 class beginning to use Logic Pro, although the tasks would apply equally to Garageband.</p> <p>Week by week, the scheme takes the students through the levels of progression from ‘Bedroom Startup’ to ‘Superstar Producer’ giving them essential skills and tips for using Logic effectively.</p> <p>Alongside written descriptions, screenshots of the relevant processes are also provided.</p>

<p>**A fun and though-provoking activity for Music Ks3 or GCSE students.<br /> **</p> <p>In small groups, the students have 10 minutes to plan their own Jukebox musical using only the songs listed on the cards.</p> <p>After 10 minutes, they must pitch their idea to a West End Theatre Director (ie you!) for potential commissioning.</p> <p>As well as using their imagination to think of an entertaining (family-friendly) storyline, the students need to consider<br /> how the song’s hook or lyrics will contribute to the musical’s storyline /<br /> tempo and mood of the song / which songs work best as opener and finale / which voice or voices are performing the song and how that fits with the characters in their story.</p>

<p>Samba Planning Sheet</p> <p>A worksheet for students to plan their own group samba performance before they head onto the drums.</p> <p>This could be set as a cover lesson with a non-specialist teacher, or used in a normal music lesson.</p> <p>Would suit KS3 or KS4.</p>
