'Buzzing Bees' Tool Kit for Eco Heroes

Our buzzing bees Tool Kit is packed with hours of fun activities to help you take action and save the bees. We’ll help you learn all about these amazing little creatures and how you can help them. Here’s what’s inside:

You’ll find poster that explains the ‘buzz about bees’ and a set of bee trump cards to play with your friends. There’s a recipe card to make yummy honey and raisin flapjacks, our eco hero card tells you about one of the greatest beekeepers ever and our I Spy card will get you out and about spotting bee favourite wild flowers. You’ll find a postcard to help you start a campaign to save the bees, as well as a fun quiz to tell what type of bee you are. There’s also a quiz to test your bee knowledge, a pledge card and 20 amazing buzzing bee facts to wow your friends. There are also 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a bee expert immediately!

Activities include making a recycled bee mobile from paper pulp and building a simple home for bees to hang in your outside space. There’s also a stained glass bee activity to help you see in blue tones, just like the bees and a building activity to see if you can construct a structure as strong as a hive!

There’s also a little something for grown-ups inside to help you understand the countryside code as well as a useful glossary.
