These challenge cards are perfect to test the children’s knowledge on 2D shapes and have a go at drawing them. I used them for a P5 class (Year 4). There are 3 different levels (mild, spicy and hot). If challenge is needed, the ‘hot’ card with the 3 chillies require the children to use a protractor to draw the shapes with accuracy and use their previous knowledge of angles to draw them.
These challenge cards can be used as a fast finisher task, or as a station activity.
