The power point includes a teachers guide, alongside the case studies needed to complete each activity. I use checklists for pupils to take ownership of their work. To reduce marking I also get pupils to hand in their checklist with their work and I highlight areas which need to be developed further to secure each grade, rather than excessive notes. I hope this reduces some stress for you and your planning! It's only taken me 2 years to get to this!

This has been really helpful. Can I ask if you have used these to complete work which was approved by the SV? In particular do you have any advice when marking? I'm struggling to distinguish between the merit and distinction criteria in the pupils writing. What is the difference between 'evaluating' and 'justifying' as opposed to 'analysing' and assessing'? If they have followed your sheets does that take them up to Distinction that is 'approved'?
For someone that has never taught Health and Social care (even at Level 2) this has been a fabulous...
