150 Christmas Picture Writing Discussion Prompts KS1 KS2

This download contains (over) 150 different pictures for students to use as writing or discussion prompts in the run up to Christmas. I have included 2 versions of each picture as well. The first picture has a prompt/question/task and the second copy of it simply says ‘tell me about this picture’. You can then set your own expectations for students: you may want them to discuss or write, it’s up to you! There is therefor in excess of 300 slides.

How can I use it in my classroom?
Add the prompts to your morning slides, use them in morning meetings, in centers/enhancing provision, as starters in your writing lessons, early finishers, homework, for practicing an existing skill, or even just for fun! You can basically whatever you fancy as the festive season approaches. There are some slides that may raise some laughs in staff meetings if you want a festive start!
