As a Key Stage 2 language teacher and subject lead, I sometimes I struggle to think of an interactive starter activity to get my lessons going and I fall back on the same activities. Valuing language learning as a fun activity for children, I therefore made a PDF document with 25 varied French starter activities aimed at KS2 children (although they could be used for KS3 revision/booster as well).
The document includes various starters covering the following areas:
-Greetings
- Numbers (up to 20)
- Colours
- Christmas
- Food
- Pets
- Intercultural understanding
