4 Singing Games with Symbols EYFS/SEND

Teacher’s Guide for EYFS SEND children.
Objective: Introduce children to music and movement through engaging singing games.
Resource Components:

1. Singing Games:
   o The Farmer in the Dell: Sing and act out the roles in the song.
   o Looby Loo: Follow the lyrics with actions for each body part.
   o Oranges and Lemons: Sing along and join in the game.
   o The Grand Old Duke of York: March and follow the actions in the song sitting or standing.
2. Lyrics and Instructions:
   o Each game includes the lyrics and simple instructions for the actions / games.
3. Flashcards:
   o Flashcards with symbols for each game. In colour and black and white for 3 games and colour for The Grand Old Duke of York.
   o Use for reference, sequencing activities, or matching and sorting.
