50 French Advanced Negation Speaking Cards

This resource includes 50 negation speaking cards that you can cut out and have students use in pairs or small groups. I recommend printing out and laminating these cards if possible so that you can use them over and over again. I’ve also included a PDF with only one card per page for projecting or using with tablets when you want to do a whole class activity or paired work without printing.

On each card there is a question for student #1 to ask to student #2. The assumed answer is written on the card, but students should be reminded that sometimes more than one answer is possible. Since there are so many cards included, this activity can last a while and give your students an opportunity to really practice a lot.

I’ve included reminder cards that you can cut out and distribute to students while they do this activity. The reminder cards list the following types of negation:
