SOW for ‘A Christmas Carol’ and Creative Writng. 26 lessons all containing the key skills for preparing classes for the AQA GCSE English Literature and the writing part of the English Language exam. Can be used for Y9-11 as has differentiated task for each lesson linked to assessment objectives and success criteria. The SOW is planned to link knowledge of Dickens’ methods with students’ own creative writing (you can skip the writing lessons if you want to).
Students will develop their skills and confidence in responding to a novel and develop skills towards the GCSE English Literature- AO1, AO2, AO3 and GCSE English Language- AO5, AO6
