A difficult but key balance that all businesses must strike is the ability to remain adaptable without changing so fast as to destabilize their company structure. One such small adaptation that many modern companies are engaging in is the choice to move to a hybrid work structure. Remote work is on the rise due to many factors, such as technological capability, cost-effectiveness, increased focus on work-life balance, the gig economy, various cultural shifts, and the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, many companies, for various reasons, cannot or do not want to leap into a fully remote workspace, but would like to introduce elements of a remote workspace. This may be a temporary, experimental, or permanent measure, depending on the company and its goals.

WHAT IS A HYBRID WORKPLACE?
A hybrid workplace is a workplace that incorporates both remote and onsite elements into the internal structure of their company. There is no one right way to do this. Any company interested in implementing a hybrid company structure will by necessity have to assess their unique resources, needs, and existing company structure to ascertain how they can most effectively shift and alter their workflow and policies.
